The King Sea Bream, sometimes called on menus by its french name (Daurade), is a small saltwater fish of the Sparidae family. It is native to the Atlantic and Mediterranean seas.
It is a white meat fish with a tender yet firm texture. A fantastic candidate if you want to braise or stew it, though equally succulent to steam, poach, fry, bake or sauté.
