Frozen FoodSteam: Place the artichoke bottoms upside down in the steam basket when the water is simmering. Leave to cook for 15/20 min.
In water: Immerse the artichoke bases in simmering salted water with the juice of half a lemon to preserve their color. Leave to cook for 10/12 minutes as soon as the boiling resumes and drain upside down to drain the water.
Prefer steam cooking to keep all the flavor of the artichoke. Check the cooking by inserting the tip of a knife into the bottom; there should be no resistance.
