Ingredients: Wheat flour, powdered egg yolk, modified starch, baking powder, (contains one or more of wheat and egg).
Step 1: Add 1kg of tempura batter mix to 1.6l of cold water and stir with chopsticks or a whisk. (Excessive stirring will result in extra stickiness, making it difficult for the batter spread and bloom like a flower when frying).
Step 2: Heat the oil to 170°C to 180°C.
Step 3: Coat ingredients with batter and fry at 160°C. (Coating batter little by little from above will help it spread so it will bloom like a beautiful flower).
Step 4: When removing from the oil, shake 2 or 3 times to remove excess oil.
