Chrispy and delicious - Prawn tempura!
Tempura is one of the most popular and well-known Japanese dishes that is widely enjoyed around the world.
Tempura is the name for dishes that have been dipped in a mixture of cold water, flour and egg then fried in oil. Because there are eggs in the mixture, some might assume that tempura are like fritters, where the egg whites are whipped, but this is not the case.
Besides being a standalone dish, Prawn Tempura is also served over a rice bowl (Tendon) or noodle soup.

Frozen Prawn Tempura
Weight: Approx. 225g
Size: 25g /piece (10 pcs /bag)
Deep Fry: Preheat the oil to 180°C. Deep fry frozen for 4 – 5 minutes until golden brown.
Oven: Preheat oven to 220°C / 200°C Fan / Gas Mark 7. Place prawns on a preheated baking tray and cook for 8 – 10 minutes or until golden brown.
